The future is bright etc

The bright future of technological age is here. Automated appliances are commonplace, cyber ware is all the rage and life is no longer limited to the physical planes of existence. Immersion has opened up the Nexus in a way computers could not and now some people exist only in the dreamscape.

But this new age comes with a heavy price. Field by the increase in technology corporations grew larger, more powerful merging together to form large monoplolies know as the Megacorporations. With limited competition in the markets and a growing strain on resources created by the ever increasing population
